COVERAGE OVERVIEW
Comm Gear Supply offers a limited lifetime warranty on most products against verified manufacturing defects and functionality malfunctions. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

It does not cover accidental or intentional physical damage (except as noted under “Line of Duty Protection”), cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, and loss or theft.

Replacement or repair under this warranty is subject to inspection and verification of the defect.

REPLACEMENT POLICY
At our discretion, approved claims will be resolved with either:

• A free replacement, or
• A discount code for a prorated or courtesy replacement.

Replacements will be the latest model or closest equivalent. If the exact product is no longer available, a comparable product of equal or greater functionality will be substituted. If a repair/minimal component replacement is available, this option will be prioritized/executed. 

CLAIM POLICY
Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or discount as outlined above.

A valid claim requires: 

• Proof of purchase (order number, email associated with order, etc.).
• Clear picture(s) of the item (Comm Gear Supply may request additional pictures, angles, close ups, etc.)
• If applicable, a short video demonstrating the defect/malfunction 
• Confirmation of Serial Number, Date Code, or an equivalent Identifying Marker
• Return of the original item (or defective component)

Claims may be denied if:

• The defect cannot be reproduced or validated by our inspection
• The condition of the item does not match the submitted pictures/videos.
• Discrepancies or alterations in the Serial Number, Date Code, or equivalent Identifying Marker.
  
  

COVERAGE CATEGORIES
1. Manufacturing Defects & Functional Malfunctions are covered for the lifetime of the product under normal use. Must be confirmed through inspection and replication of the issue. Warranty requires return of the original item before processing. 

2. Physical Damage / Accidental Breakage is not normally covered under the lifetime warranty. However, certain items may qualify for Line of Duty Protection or a courtesy replacement discount. Qualifying Line of Duty Protection items carry a 3-6 month protection period and a one-time replacement limit per product for physical damage. Customer will cover shipping both ways for replacements under the Line of Duty Protection. If damage is not eligible/covered, we may offer a courtesy discount of 15–20%, at our discretion. 

3. Cosmetic, Visual, or Superficial Damage that does not impair functionality is not eligible for a claim. Items will be tested to replicate reported malfunctions before approval.

4. Excessive Wear and Tear beyond what is expected in normal use may result in a prorated discount offer instead of full replacement. Coverage will be adjusted based on the assessed condition and timeframe. 

EXCLUSIONS 
This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear (Including pads, batteries, cables, or other consumable parts)
• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorized modifications, improper storage, or natural disasters
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration, etc.) not affecting function
• Loss, theft, or misplacement of the product
• Tampering with, removal of, or alteration of serial numbers, labels, or markings
• Use of the product outside of its intended environment or beyond manufacturer’s specifications
• Unauthorized repair or service by third parties (unless approved by Comm Gear Supply)
• Any claim that cannot be substantiated (i.e. inability to reproduce defect, missing proof of purchase, etc.)
  
  

PRORATED COVERAGE SCHEDULE

“Replacement value” refers to the original purchase price paid by the customer for the qualifying product, excluding taxes, shipping, or optional add-ons. 

SHIPPING POLICY
For any item being returned under this warranty, the party that purchases the return shipping label—whether Comm Gear Supply or the customer—is responsible for ensuring that the shipment is fully insured for its replacement value. In cases where the customer provides an uninsured or underinsured label, any transit damage or loss will void the warranty claim.

U.S. Orders

• We will cover return shipping for up to two claims during the first 2 years.
• Within first 30 days: Comm Gear Supply covers shipping both to us and back.
• After 30 Days: Customer covers shipping to Comm Gear Supply
• After 2 Years: Customer covers all shipping costs(inbound and outbound).
• Denied Claims do not qualify for free/covered return shipping, regardless of timeframe. 

International Orders

• We will cover return shipping for up to two claims during the first 2 years.
  
• Within first 30 days: Due to system limitations, customer covers a pre-approved shipping rate/label to Comm Gear Supply. Comm Gear Supply will reimburse the approved shipping rate/label upon receipt of the item. 
• After 30 Days: Customer covers shipping to Comm Gear Supply
• After 2 Years: Customer covers all shipping costs(inbound and outbound).
  
• Denied Claims do not qualify for free/covered return shipping, regardless of timeframe. 

HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM 
1. Email CustomerService@CommGearSupply.com your Proof of Purchase (order number or equivalent), description of the defect, photos, and any identifying marker (Serial Number, Date Code, etc.).

2. Follow the return instructions provided.

3. Upon receipt, Comm Gear Supply will inspect and evaluate the product.

4. Approved claims will receive a replacement or discount code.

We reserve the right to change this warranty policy at any time. Changes do not retroactively affect claims made while a previous version was in force.
