P/N: IPVC-N: Passive volume controller for NATO based tactical or helicopter headsets. Designed to connect between the headset and PTT/Intercom.
This is a passive volume controller. It is capable of reducing and leveling the incoming audio. It will not amplify the incoming radio level. Best practice for this volume controller is to set the incoming audio level to the highest useable/needed level. Use the volume controller to bring down the volume to a comfortable level. When there is a need for more headset volume, the volume controller can be used to bring up the headset volume to the pre-designated volume max.
